Rajan Mathai is new foreign Secretary

                Ambassador to france RajanMathai has been appointed foreign Secretary.He will replace Nirupama Rao.A 1974 batch officer of the Indian foreign service,Mathai has served in Europe,the US and the Middle east,besides a spell in Sri Lanka.
